Fullstack Developer (ReactJS, NestJS, PostgreSQL)

We are looking for a Fresher/Junior Fullstack Developer with hands-on experience in ReactJS, Node.js (NestJS) and PostgreSQL to join SETA's internal product team. Together we are building an HR & Talent Intelligence platform that connects recruitment, employee profiles, skills and project staffing in one place, with AI built into everyday workflows.

You will work in a small, focused team alongside a Tech Lead, a senior fullstack engineer and an AI/ML engineer, shipping features that HR, Sales and company leadership use every day. The product extends a recruitment platform that is already running in production, so you will learn to read, improve and own real code from day one, supported by senior mentorship and AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features end to end: ReactJS screens (forms, data tables, dashboards) and Node.js/NestJS REST APIs.
• Design and evolve PostgreSQL data models; write efficient queries, indexes and migrations.
• Extend the existing recruitment platform: read and understand existing code, refactor where needed, and keep it stable while new modules are added.
• Implement role-based access control, audit logging and personal-data protection features (consent tracking, data masking).
• Work with the AI/ML engineer to integrate AI services (CV parsing, skill normalisation, candidate matching) into the product through APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests, take part in code reviews, and fix issues found during UAT and production use.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools to deliver faster, while staying responsible for the quality and security of every line you ship.
• Work closely with the HR/TA team (product owner) to clarify requirements and turn them into working features.

Your Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (professional work, internships, freelance or substantial personal projects).
• Practical experience with ReactJS: hooks, component design, state management, and consuming REST APIs.
• Practical experience with Node.js, ideally NestJS (modules, controllers, providers, dependency injection). Strong Express developers willing to ramp up on NestJS quickly are welcome.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL: schema design, joins, indexes, transactions, and an ORM such as TypeORM or Prisma.
• Solid understanding of REST API design and authentication (JWT/session-based).
• Comfortable with Git and a pull-request / code-review workflow; basic Docker usage.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools effectively to learn and solve problems, and to verify what they produce.
• Good English reading skills for documentation; able to communicate clearly in Vietnamese and English.
• Independent, proactive and responsible: comfortable exploring an unfamiliar codebase, asking good questions and owning tasks to completion.

Nice to Have

• Experience building admin or dashboard applications with data tables, filters and charts.
• Experience with UI libraries such as Ant Design, MUI or Tailwind CSS.
• Exposure to search in PostgreSQL (full-text search, pgvector) or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and basic cloud deployment.
• Interest in or experience with HR, recruitment or internal business systems.
